Payton founded OxEra to bring practical risk strategies to contractors and manufacturers who need more than paperwork and friendship to protect what they're building. He grew up pouring concrete in his father's business, graduated summa cum laude from Kansas State with a degree in mechanical engineering, and spent his early career in project management and engineering roles at McCownGordon and Kice Industries.
A founding partner, Parker leads OxEra's Mountain West business from Denver. He studied construction science and management at Kansas State, then spent the first part of his career traveling with JE Dunn, learning how the best-run contractors separate themselves. He went to Federated Insurance as a producer to see how carriers underwrite that same work. Now he puts the two together to build better risk strategies for our clients.
Katie draws on her experience as an underwriter at AmWINS to build submissions that speak directly to underwriting concerns and get better results for our clients. Her psychology degree from Kansas State shows in the way she works with people and helps them solve problems. She believes insurance doesn't have to be confusing or impersonal, and loves to spend face time with clients any chance she gets...
